Tom “Mel” Stanton was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to the Green Bay area when he was in high school (1975). He made lots of friends who were connected to the Packers. As he grew up, Tom was also a bartender at DePere’s great Union Hotel and at the fantastic Nicky’s Lionhead. Here’s Tom recalling what it was like to play tennis at Bart Starr’s house. I have enjoyed getting to know Mel and hearing all about his great experiences in the Fox Valley!
